When I bought my first Nokia 3310 in the '90s, I didn't imagine that I could one day take pictures with my mobile [US: cell] phone. And let's not mention all the rolls of film that we had to develop! We couldn't look at the pictures beforehand, and we often ended up with blurry or bad photos. Nowadays, the word selfie has become omnipresent when one talks about new technologies. Selfies are photos that someone takes of themselves by using a mobile [US: cell] phone or a digital camera to then post them on social media. Some see this phenomenon as pure vanity, and others as a deeper philosophical exercise. And you, what do you think of selfies?
