Direct to indirect speech Reported speech. I have a doubt in the following question.

Question

Une mère dit a son fils "Qu'est-ce qui t’intéresse beaucoup?"

Une mère dit a son fils ce qui l’intéresse beaucoup or Une mère dit a son fils ce qui lui intéresse beaucoup.

Please clarify. TIA.

It is not a part of micro kwiz or kwiziq exercise.  I found this question in one of grammar book. 
I got the answer through another source.  Une mère dit a son fils ce qui l’intéresse beaucoup, as the verb interesser is used as transitive form.
