Every summer, we used to spend our holidays...

How does this translate to "Chaque été, ma famille et moi..." ?

"...nous passions nos vacances..." wasn't presented as a possible translation. Am I missing something here? Thanks.

Hi everyone,

There was an error in the English version of the text which I have corrected it, I hope to your satisfaction.

Thank you for pointing it out!

I wrote the same thing and it was marked wrong, too.  I think it is a problem with the kwizbot. ;-)  Clearly, the prompt asks for "we", not "my family and I".

The marking of these exercises is only relative to at most a few possibilities. There always are many more possibilities, all of which it would be impossible to enter. Therefore It is up to you to grade yourself. The corrections offered by the bot all have to be taken with a big grain of salt.

I don’t know about the specific sentence you posted. But if you wrote nous passions then, of course that would be a good translation.

It seems if you know your answer is good, it's good. But what if you think it's good but don't know for sure? Unsatisfactory. There is much on this site that needs significant improvement, notwithstanding that there is also much that is pretty good. Unfortunately the response to issues that need attention is repeatedly less than satisfactory.
