La Castafiore?

La Castafiore?

One of the quizzes has a sentence:  La Castafiore faints (s'évanouir) all the time.

This question is totally unrelated to reflexive verbs, but I can't figure out what La Castafiore is.  Can you give a little history on this noun, please?  I enjoy picking up a little non-grammar knowledge from time to time.  Thanks.

I asked Google and it told me that La Castafiore is a fictional cartoon character in the comic series "The Adventures of Tintin".

I had the same issue. The question would benefit from a correction with the English. As above, as I understand too Castafiore is a name. So they maybe should write Madame Castafiore (or another title) as "The Castafiore" makes no sense. And I found no reference to the name being equivalent to maestro or diva.
Hopefully the feedback will help.
