Hi Laurens,

If I have understood your query, it should be 'Il faut que tu aies de la confiance' but often in speech you will hear 'Il faut que t'aies de la confiance' but you would not see it in written form.

Laurens, "tu" is never shortened in front of vowels (unlike "te" or "que" which are).
