Why isn't the answer feminine?

Tu es allée au cinéma après ________ pour ton exam. You went to the cinema after studying for your exam.(HINT: Use "réviser")
I answered "avoir révisée" because "tu es allée" tells me tu is feminine but the correct answer given is "avoir revise".

Christopher,

Compound verbs conjugated with avoir don’t take agreement unless the verb’s direct object precedes it.

Hence, ‘après avoir révisé ‘ , no agreement, is correct’.

Special cases when the past participle agrees (in number & gender) when used with 'avoir' in the compound past in French (Le Passé Composé)

Christopher,

by the way, love the profile pic !

We do ‘jeudredi’ every week - de jeudi soir à dimanche soir ! On est à la retraite après tout, et la vie, elle est difficile parfois !

Bonjour Christopher,

Maarten is correct about the non agreement of the past participle "révisé" here.

En aparté, je ne connaissais pas le mot "jeudredi" ! On en apprend tous les jours ! Merci beaucoup ! Après une petite recherche rapide sur le net, je viens de découvrir ce qu'il signifie. Voici une petite explication du terme :  https://trends.levif.be/entreprises/le-mot-du-jour-jeudredi/

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

I guess it's because there is no accord for verbs whose past tense is formed with avoir, only for être.
