I dont like football , can we say it as je n'aime pas le football or do we use the conjunction of faire here

'Je n'aime pas le football' is correct. When talking about things in general, or abstractly, you must use the definite articles 'le, la, l', les' .

When the statement is general, the rule of using partitive article 'de' doesn't apply.

J'aime le football = I like football

Je n'aime pas le football = I don't like football
